Green Tale one

Our site at Mathilakam was an open land located next to the client’s ancestral home. The client wanted to create a quaint Nature’s cove for his joint family and the local community. A place for them to come relax, gather and access fresh fruit and flowers.

On inspecting the site and testing the soil, we proposed an L shaped plan that suited the site parameters. We also carefully studied and chose a wide variety of native species that would best adapt and grow for this site’s soil condition. Though this site had its challenges of water logging, elevation and torrential climate, with the right care this Miyawaki forest is growing fast and resilient.

It is heartwarming for us see what was once a barren land which is now a thriving young forest and a relaxing gathering space for the neighboring residents.
